October 2009
I've
been knitting a lot of socks
this past year - they are so
portable and I can't resist some
of the hand painted and self
patterning sock yarn.
Because I like to have some
knitting with me at all times, I
invented the "Sockit", a beautiful bag to
carry my current sock project in
my purse, keeping the wool lint
free and ensuring that my
knitting needles don't go AWOL.
I've also talked Sheila (from
Heartland Creations in Port Loring) into hand painting the
Briggs and Little Durasport sock
yarn. This is now available in
limited quantities in my booth,
wherever you might find me over
the year (see craft schedule). |
