KNIT ONE PURL TWO Knitting is easy to learn, portable and productive.  Join local knitter, Marie Turner, and learn to knit.  This course is great for the beginner or as a refresher. KNITTING MITTS & SOCKS  Always wanted to try knitting socks or mitts?  Join local knitter Marie Turner to make some traditional thrummed mittens (super warm, even when wet) in adult or child size, OR a pair of socks with the new self-patterning yarn.  Basic knitting knowledge (how to knit, purl, and do ribbing) is all that is necessary for this course.         Greenelf Knitting Kits

Marie is a textile artist inspired by the flora and fauna of Muskoka with its striking backdrop of lakes, forests, and granite rocks.

Sources for textiles include recycled woolen garments and local farms and yarn processors.
